Hard core legendary Mt Hood Skier who has skied the summit more than 300 times, Asit Rathod will walk/ski us through the upper elevation riding on the seven major ski descents from Hood’s summit, and share his personal recollections and stories that lead to his writing the book ’11,239: A Ski and Snowboarding Guide from the Summit of Mt Hood’. He will tell of mistakes he has made exploring it, close call, lessons learned, hard-earned pristine powder days, and the strong bonds of friendships forged on the mountain.
