Our speaker, Peter Dibble, is an enthusiast of local Oregon history. His documentary style videos on YouTube explore some of the lesser-known stories from our State’s past. In his talk, he will discuss the Mt Hood Aerial Skiway, an unusual aerial tram that connected Government Camp with Timberline Lodge in the 1950’s. Resembling a bus suspended by cables, this short-lived system was ultimately the victim of its own flawed design.
Doors open at 6:30pm. $5.00 admission. Beer, wine will be available to purchase.
